A few things have changed since I last posted about this subject. I still believe that the Des Moines Sunday Register is the best newspaper to buy for the coupons. As you may know by now, unless you are a newbie, the price has gone up to $3.00 per paper. To make it worth the money to spend the $3.00, you may just want to begin with one paper and check to be sure there are at least $3.00 worth of coupons you're likely to use in there.
Kum and Go still does their Des Moines Register deal. It has changed, however, it will cost you 99c per paper on Sunday with a $20.00 gas purchase. Many Kum and Go's are opening around the area, so if you are hesitant to make multiple trips to one location for gas and newspapers, you can spread it around a little bit.
